The benefits of L-Dopa, Carbidopa and Vit. E

How can L-Dopa, Carbidopa, Noradrenaline and Vitamin E improve your quality of life?

The secret of AtremoPlus

Thanks to Vicia faba, we've managed to create a unique natural product that combines the essential elements of L-Dopa, Carbidopa, and Noradrenaline with those of Vitamin E.

The benefits of a combined intake of L-Dopa, Carbidopa, and Vitamin E are numerous. L-Dopa is an amino acid precursor to dopamine, contributing to increased dopamine levels in the brain, thereby improving motor function, mood, concentration, and attention. Carbidopa is crucial in allowing L-Dopa to cross the blood-brain barrier. Noradrenaline, a neurotransmitter, plays an essential role in concentration, motivation, positive mood, as well as motor dynamics and coordination. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage caused by free radicals and oxidative stress.

Together, these ingredients can contribute to improving overall well-being and vitality, particularly cognitive and motor functions.

The benefits of L-Dopa, a precursor of dopamine

L-Dopa and Cognitive Function

1 out of 8 adults aged 60 and older report increasing states of confusion or memory loss.

L-Dopa can help improve mental clarity, concentration, memory, vigilance, and reduce mental fatigue.

With regular use, L-Dopa can help enhance mental and cognitive performance.

L-Dopa and Motor Functions

`

It is widely recognized that physical activity has many benefits for both the body and the mind. Unfortunately, 1 in 4 adults do not achieve the levels of physical activity recommended by experts.

This is especially true for people with dopamine deficiency, as dopamine plays a key role in both motivation and motor functions such as dynamism, speed, fluidity of movement and balance.

A lack of dopamine can lead to phenomena such as rigidity, tremors, slowness of movement, cramps, loss of fine motor skills, lack of facial expression, imbalances and falls, and sometimes even an involuntary blockage in movement called freezing.

People with severe dopamine deficiency may also experience speech problems, sometimes with a monotone voice and difficulty forming words and making themselves understood, regularly accompanied by excessive salivation.

The intake of L-Dopa can provide additional energy and help stimulate the motivation needed to perform essential physical activities to maintain and improve motor functions.

L-Dopa and well-being

Dopamine is often referred to as the "happiness molecule" due to its essential role in regulating our emotions and pleasure.

Low levels of dopamine are associated with symptoms such as stress, anxiety, depression and circadian rhythm disturbances with sleep problems and decreased sleep recovery capacity.

L-Dopa helps increase dopamine levels in the brain, which can aid in improving sleep quality, mood, and mental well-being.

Numerous scientific studies have demonstrated the links between higher dopamine levels and feelings of pleasure and reward, contributing to a better quality of life and greater personal satisfaction.

L-Dopa and Energy

Dopamine is an incredibly powerful hormone that can provide us with energy, strength, and motivation. It is released in greater amounts when we experience pleasure or success, and it helps us stay motivated and full of life.

Dopamine also helps regulate our moods and emotions, giving us the drive and determination to keep going and accomplish our tasks. Dopamine deficiency can lead to low energy, sometimes chronic fatigue, apathy, low mood, or feeling unmotivated.

Fortunately, there are ways to increase dopamine levels in the brain. A healthy lifestyle and a good diet can help. If there is a temporary or significant structural deficiency, it may be appropriate to take L-dopa, a precursor to dopamine.

Supplementing with L-Dopa can help increase dopamine levels for those experiencing dopamine deficiency, thereby boosting energy levels and aiding in enhancing motivation and mood.

The benefits of natural vitamin E

Vitamin E, an essential vitamin not produced by the human body

Our body undergoes throughout its existence multiple attacks, including one very important which is considered one of the main reasons for aging and degeneration of the body: oxidative stress.

The older we get, the more complicated our ability to fight oxidative stress becomes for the body which deteriorates and is less and less able to maintain an oxidative balance. Free radicals take over and damage cells and tissue groups. Chronic inflammation is often linked to excessive oxidative stress which is associated with pain and degeneration processes.

Vitamin E, belongs to the group of antioxidant active ingredients that have the ability to deactivate free radicals and thus reduce oxidative stress. This claim has been approved by the EFSA (European Food Safety Administration) on the basis of scientific literature for food supplements. This protective function of Vitamin E helps to preserve the substance of our body and to slow down the destruction process related to oxidative stress.

The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) of vitamin E is set at 12 mg of alpha-tocopherol per day in its natural form. In Atremoplus®, the concentration of natural vitamin E is 12 mg per 5g, which means 2 scoops correspond to the recommended daily dose of Vitamin E.

Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that is well assimilated in its natural form

AtremoPlus wants to offer a natural and high quality solution, which is why the choice of vitamin E of natural origin was an obvious one.

Naturally occurring alpha-tocopherol is well absorbed and can enter the cells where the body needs it. Scientific studies suggest that the body absorbs the natural form of vitamin E better than the synthetic form*.

The other active ingredients contained in the Vicia Faba plant

The natural mix of vitamins, minerals, flavonoids, carotenoids, amino acids, polyphenols, and phytosterols found in the Vicia faba plant is important, even though the concentrations of each of these active ingredients may not be displayed on the product label.

Each of these elements is indeed beneficial for our body, and numerous scientific studies testify to their benefits. We also know that some of these active ingredients support each other for better assimilation.

It is well-known, for example, that magnesium is more metabolizable for the body when administered with Vitamin B6. Nobel Prize laureate in Chemistry, Linus Pauling, and his "Micronutrient Information Center on Vitamins and Minerals" testify to the importance of these synergies of active principles.

The polyphenols found in Vicia faba, for example, slow down the conversion of L-Dopa. As a small molecule, L-Dopa can cross the blood-brain barrier, which is not the case for dopamine due to its size being too large to cross the blood-brain barrier.
